Jacob Iati is not a senior, but is a senior. He has enough credits to graduate and will not use his last year of playing eligibility. Instead, he has already been named the graduate assistant for next season. It will be interesting at SEFCU Arena later tonight.

Tough to see him go

He’s really stepped up with the rest of the team going down like flies. Glad that he’s going to stay on and be an assistant coach next season, he’ll certainly be an asset for this team

Also, with him giving up a year of eligibility, it really helps the logjam the team has with recruits, because with Hooley and Page coming off redshirts and Bruxvoort (and possibly others) coming in. I’m not sure what they would have done otherwise if Iati had not given in his year.
