Sunday Funday Preview / Game Thread: Someone has to win...Hartford vs. Binghamton
What a match-up the AE has got today. Hartford, a team that is 0-8 on the road this season, takes on Binghamton, a team that is 0-8 at home this season. In other words…zzzzzzzz. The teams are a combined 1-30 on the season, with Hartford taking the upset against UNH last week.
Key to Victory: I seriously don't know what to expect in this game. Hartford is ranked 315th in the nation in scoring and 317th in field goal percentage. Binghamton is at 339th in scoring and 340th in field goal percentage. Both are ranked in the 290's in point allowed, giving up around 73 points per game. The key however maybe rebounding. If Binghamton can limit second chance opportunities (and I really mean IF. Bingo is one of the worst rebounding teams in the nation), the Bearcats could pull out their first win. Hartford is really bad on the offensive boards, so it opens the door.
Who will win? Find out after the jump
X-Factor: Robert Mansell. Despite a poor shooting performance vs. Vermont, sophomore Robert Mansell has been on a tear in conference play for the Bearcats. Prior to the Vermont game, against Stony Brook and BU, Mansell shot over 50% from the field (63% vs. BU) and had back-to-back 20+ point outings. The only other time he did that was the first two games of the season against Colgate or Cornell. However, his shooting has been spotty all season. If he is on today...watch out.
Prediction: I will admit, I care more about the Texans-Ravens football game, but it will be interesting to see who pulls out this win. Both teams are truly competing for the worst conference team in the last decade. However, at least we get a preview of the 1st Round of the Conference Tournament. I don't expect tons of scoring (If I was a betting man, I would take the under on 95 points). Flip a coin like I did...Binghamton wins.

Live Stats?
I can’t seem to get them. How ‘bout anyone else? (this is really embarrassing, cuz I know I’m probably the only person looking)
Good game...
up until halftime. Then Hartford came out and just lit the Bearcats up. The Hawks played an all around solid game and once they got up big, Binghamton had no chance.
Sigh.
